“Easy to Understand the Amazon Ranking Strategy?”
I’m going to tell you about the Amazon ranking strategy that big sellers use to get to the top of the search. Maybe you know it, but not in the right way. If you’re also working hard to get your product to rank, writing good descriptions, setting great images, and targeting the right audience, but still can’t rank— and you wonder why others do— this could be the strategy they are using, which you might not know. So, here’s the strategy that’s helping them rank.
“Big Sellers’ Secret Amazon Ranking Strategy?”
Let’s understand this step by step.
1) Big sellers hire agencies to get their product to the top search results. They choose agencies that are trustworthy and can rank your product without being detected by Amazon’s algorithms.
2) How do they do it? These agencies have their own audience built already, who help rank the product. You might have seen “loot sales” on Telegram! That’s their audience, who will buy the product on Amazon.
3) The agency will buy your product in bulk from its own audience, and the reviews will help push your product to the top of the search.
4) The audience buying your product will do so at a discounted price. So, if your product is listed at Rs 800, you can reduce the price to Rs 200. Remember, you control the pricing and can increase or decrease it anytime.
5) The agency’s audience will be from different locations, so they’ll buy it at Rs 200. However, they’ll have to leave reviews in return.
This is the strategy big sellers use. But, it’s risky because if Amazon’s algorithm detects it, your account could get suspended, and your pending payments might be stopped. So, how do big sellers avoid getting caught while executing this strategy? Let’s find out.
“How to Execute the Strategy Well Without Getting Caught?”
If you don’t want to get caught, follow these tips:
1) Find a trustworthy agency. A trustworthy agency will help rank your product without getting caught by Amazon’s fraud detection system.
2) Once you have a trustworthy agency, don’t bulk buy the product in one go. Ask the agency to place 8-10 orders over weeks. Bulk buying 50-100 orders can get flagged.
3) Ask them where the orders are coming from. If they’re coming from the same location or same pin code, Amazon might catch it. So, the orders should be from different locations.
4) Make sure the agency doesn’t use the same device or fake accounts to make purchases. Fake accounts are new accounts with no order history. If they’re buying from the same device or using fake accounts, Amazon’s system can flag it.
5) The orders shouldn’t be placed all at once. If the agency is searching for and buying your product directly on Amazon, it’ll be flagged as unnatural. It should look like a real buyer is making a thoughtful decision.
6) Ask the agency not to buy directly after searching. They should scroll through similar products, then add it to the cart, and buy after a while. This makes it look like a real buyer.
7) Orders should not come in at the same time. Spread them out on different days and times to avoid suspicion.
8) The payments should come from different methods, such as cash on delivery, UPI, credit card, or debit card. Don’t let all orders come through one payment method.
9) A very important point: Don’t keep lowering your product price. If you frequently change the price, Amazon will notice and it could trigger an alert. Keep the price stable. For example, if the price is Rs 800, leave it as is. Also, don’t pressurize the agency for 5-star reviews. Reviews should be short, simple, and in text/image form—not all reviews at once.
10) Distribute coupons for orders from the agency, but keep the price higher for regular customers. Don’t decrease the price on Amazon for everyone. If you do, you’ll be losing money, as you’ll be selling at the same price to both the agency and the regular customers. Focus on driving external traffic via social media so that you can maintain the original price on Amazon.
Bonus Tip: If you’re selling the same product on your e-commerce store, lower the price on your website, but keep it higher on Amazon. This will drive more traffic to your website, and people will buy directly from there. If you lower the price on Amazon just to drive traffic, you’ll lose money.
That’s why I say, ranking a product is not as easy as it looks, whether you’re doing it organically or with some strategy. It all requires effort. If you’ve learned something new, let me know in the comments. Please leave feedback so I can bring more strategies for you.
